 How it works: You reserve a Walnut Grove Half Pork Share today with a $250 deposit. We reserve one of our premium hogs for your family. Our USDA-certified butcher will process your pork and pack it in individual vacuum-sealed packages. Once your pork is ready, we will send you an invoice to collect the rest of the payment ($). Shipping will be calculated Depending on your distance from the farm, You may opt for discounted local pickup.

 

A Half Pork includes approximately 70 lbs. of the following: 

  • 8-1 lbs. Cured Bacon 
  • 1-Cured Ham (whole, half, or steaks)
  • 1  Loin roast
  • 3 packages of Pork chops (4 chops to 1 package)
  • 1 Boston butt roast
  • Spare Ribs 1 side , including Baby Back  ribs
  • 8 lbs. of Ground Pork in 1lbs. packages (patties available for additional charge)
  • 8 lbs. Sausage, choice of: Sage or Country in Patties or 1lbs packages

Please indicate in the order notes your preference for each item with options! This includes: ham, Boston butt roasts, picnic shoulder roasts, ground pork, and sausage.

 

Price: Place your Half Pork deposit today for $250. Pay the rest ($) when your pork is ready. Total amount: $500

Freezer Space: This Half Pork Share will require approx. 2-3 cubic ft. of freezer space.

Packaging: All cuts are individually vacuum-sealed, USDA-processed, and labeled. 

Shipping: We will reach out and update you when our shipping dates are finalized. You can also opt to get a discount on your order with local pickup.

The People Behind Your Pork

The story of Walnut Grove Meats is all about family, heart, and a whole lot of love for what we do. For five generations, the Brint family has been raising pigs and perfecting their craft. Today, David Brint, his wife Holly, and their kids keep that tradition alive. They work to blend old-school know-how with fresh ideas to bring you pork that’s honestly delicious.

It all started with show pigs (yep, the kind that win ribbons!), which taught us the importance of raising happy, healthy animals. Over time, that passion grew into what we call "Blue Ribbon Quality": our promise that every bite will taste amazing and come from pigs raised with care.

What breeds of pigs do you raise?

We raise Heritage breeds including Berkshire, Duroc, and Spots, which are known for their exceptional marbling and rich flavor.

How are your pigs raised?

Our pigs enjoy a large outdoor lot for exercise and fresh air, sunshine and clean water. Their diet is carefully managed with locally-sourced corn which we grind to feed on site; we have complete quality control of their diet.

Do you use antibiotics?

We prioritize the natural well-being of our animals and use antibiotics only when absolutely necessary for life saving measures.

What are your shipping options?
